I definitely see the theme of “Dio sticking bits of himself into people” now! I think my brain skipped over the implications of the first two pics (when I look at the first one now, it can’t read as anything other than Dio plunging his fingers in) because the subject is out of the norm? As far as I’ve seen, the fandom usually chooses to depict Dio as either straight out molesting a person or drinking their blood classical vampire style from the neck. Not many people seem to venture into Jojo’s canon body horror, so that last image really jumped out at me. And actually, wasn’t it the norm for jojo vamps feed with their fingers? I want to say yes, at least for Part 1.
Ahhh, that’s SUCH a good point and it’s blowing my mind! That explains how Dio healed Pucci—that bit did always confuse me but yay, now I know. I love how Dio’s ability to mess with cells connects Jojo vampires more to the Pillarmen (specifically perfect Cars and his ability to change his own body at will).
Methinks Dio could probably harm and heal at an imperceptible rate, but he would let a body experience the full spectrum of sensations that went along with it. He seems like the kind of guy who loves observing reactions and discovering things. Or maybe he’s just bored, haha.

Dio makeouts are the best makeouts but OH MY CORPSE is he sticking his fingers into poor “c’s” gut?! Can’t unsee and finding it morbidly fascinating.He so is! And I’m so going to blab on and on…
